Australia confirms Ashes schedule for 2013-14

Cricket Australia has confirmed the schedule forthe 2013-14 Ashes series against England, with the tour starting with a warmupmatch in Perth on Oct. 31 and the first test scheduled to start Nov. 21 atBrisbane.

Dates and venues for the five limited-overs matches andthree Twenty20 internationals will be released in January.

As well as the five tests, England will play a three-daymatch against a Western Australia XI at Perth, and four-day matches againstAustralia A in Hobart, a New South Wales XI in Sydney and a two-day matchagainst a Cricket Australia Chairman's XI in Canberra on Nov. 29-30.

Australia will play an Ashes series in England in 2013before hosting the return series in a congested year for the traditionalbilateral series.

Nov. 21-25 : Gabba, Brisbane.

Dec. 5-9: Adelaide Oval.

Dec. 13-17: WACA, Perth.

Dec. 26-30: Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Jan. 3-7: Sydney Cricket Ground.
