CHENNAI: Four players from Tamil Nadu are among the seven Indians who will feature in the chess World Cup to be played in Georgia from September 2 to 27. The 128-player knockout event will see five-time former world champion Viswanathan Anand, who has been selected from the 2016-2017 ratings. National champion Karthikeyan Murali is selected from FIDE Zone 3.7, SP Sethuraman gets the nod for his show in the Asian Continentals, while Baskaran Adhiban is a FIDE nominee. Pentala Harikrishna (from ratings), Deep Sengupta (from Continental 2016) Vidit Gujrathi (from Continental 2017) are the other players who will represent the country at the event.
