The District Review Committee of Rangareddy District on Thursday generated a lot of heat as the MLAs and MLCs of political parties took the government to task on several issues.

The issues included rregularities in the  recruitment of teachers, shortage of drinking water.  As soon as the meeting began, minister for civil supplies and district in-charge  minister D Sridhar Babu faced a barrage of questions from MLAs Manchireddy Kishen Reddy, KS Ratnam, K Harishwar Reddy, P Mahendar Reddy and K Laxma Reddy, and others over the non-implementation of several resolutions passed at the previousmeeting.

Kishan Reddy, Ratnam, Laxma Reddy and others told the minister that there was  need to relook at the HMDA Master Plan which was approved by the government in January this year.
