Several officials caught accepting bribes all over the state

Deputy tahasildar at Dharmavaram in Anantapur district G Tirupati Kumar was caught red-handed by ACB  sleuths while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 from a complainant.

According to ACB officials, the complainant has approached Kumar seeking a favour on a land dispute issue on Tuesday and asked him to forward the file to RDO for clearance when the deputy tahasildar demanded Rs 30,000 prompting the complainant to approach the ACB. Kumar was produced before the special court for trial of ACB cases in Rayalaseema region in Kurnool district.

In another case, additional revenue inspector, Yadagirigutta in Nalgonda district, Dadi Raja Vikramarka was caught by ACB sleuths in the late hours of Monday while he was taking `20,000 as bribe from a complainant for approaching him to mutate the agricultural land of the complainant in ROR records and to issue pattadar passbook. He was arrested and will be produced  before the first additional special judje for SPE and ACB cases in Hyderabad.

The village revenue officer of Samudrala in Koheda mandal in Karimnagar district was caught red-handed by ACB officials in the late hours of Monday at the tahasildar’s office while he was accepting Rs 10,000 bribe from a complainant who approached the VRO to mutate the lands purchased by him and to provide the pattadar passbooks and the title deeds.

The accused was arrested and produced before the principal judge for SPE and ACB cases, Hyderabad.

In another case, a mandal revenue inspector and a junior assistant at the Rudravaram mandal office in Kurnool district were caught by ACB sleuths while they were accepting Rs 12,000 bribe from a complainant, Talari, a suspended employee of the revenue department.
