Two killed as lorry hits autorickshaw

Two persons died in a road mishap near IIT Hyderabad at Kandi village of Sangareddy mandal in the wee hours of Friday. An auto rickshaw transporting milk packets from Jyothi Dairy in Miyapur to Sangareddy was hit by a lorry coming in the opposite direction.

The auto driver, Panduranga Rao, and another person identified as Srinivas Rao died on the spot. The lorry driver fled from the spot. Based on the complaint of Panduranga Rao’s wife Jyothi, police registered a case and took up investigation. Bodies have been sent for autopsy.
