Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah will be felicitated at Ravindra Bharati here on June 8 for his victory in the recent Assembly elections in that state as well as for being the first BC leader to occupy the post in the south.

Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah will be felicitated at Ravindra Bharati here on June 8 for his victory in the recent Assembly elections in that state as well as for being the first BC leader to occupy the post in the south.

Rajya Sabha member and senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao is organising the felicitation ceremony to prove the point that only the Congress can make BCs chief ministers a practical possibility.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday,  Rao said Siddaramaiah had accepted his invitation.
