Daggubati Venkateswara Rao dares TSR

Express News Service

Daggubati Venkateswara Rao, Congress MLA from Parchur in Guntur district and Union minister Purandeswari’s husband, continued his tirade against Congress’ Rajya Sabha member T Subbarami Reddy for the second day on Thursday.

Rao, who went to Parchur to visit villages in his constituency, told Express over telephone that Reddy had cheated several banks by pledging the same property with them to obtain loans. On account of his fraud, a bank manager had even lost his job, he said and claimed that he had complete information in that regard.

Welcoming the reported decision  of TSR to sue him, Venkateswara Rao said that he  was welcoming the move as it would give him an opportunity to expose Reddy’s illegal activities before courts. TSR had indulged in several irregularities in the construction of Nagarjuna Sagar dam and the Visakhapatnam steel plant.

Saying that there would be no harm to him or his wife if TSR lodged a complaint with the high command against them, he suggested to TSR to carry out his threat.
