GUNTUR: A realtor who feared to execute a conspiracy to kill a woman with a country-made pistol, surrendered before District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Chairperson Lanka Tejavathi on Friday with the firearm. She handed over him along with the pistol to Arundelpet police.    Guntur West DSP KGV Saritha told newsmen here that Sanaga Somasekhar Reddy sold the property of Chalasani Jhansi, which was mortgaged to borrow Rs 20 lakh from him. When she sought her property details, he failed to give proper reply. As a last resort, she informed him that she would take the matter to the notice of the Chief Minister. Somasekhar Reddy runs Sankar Holistic Yoga Centre in the city. Realtor Modugula Vijayabhaskar Reddy used to visit the yoga centre.

Somasekhar Reddy who conspired to kill Jhansi, gave a country-made pistol to Vijayabhaskar Reddy to execute the plan. But he got cold feet later and surrendered before the DLSA chairperson on the advice of his lawyer. Vijayabhaskar Reddy was taken into custody. A case was registered.
