VIJAYAWADA: In a significant boost to Andhra Pradesh’s IT growth and digital transformation drive, the Sattva Group has announced a Rs 1,500-crore investment to develop an integrated IT campus in Visakhapatnam.
The 30-acre project, titled Sattva Vantage Vizag Campus, will be a landmark development in the port city, combining Grade A office spaces, premium residential zones, and world-class infrastructure built on principles of sustainability and smart urban design.
The announcement follows a series of strategic discussions between the Sattva Group and Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh, whose proactive leadership and vision have positioned the state as a prime destination for technology and infrastructure investment.
The project is expected to generate over 25,000 direct jobs, contributing to the government’s efforts to promote investments in Vizag.

Minister Lokesh, who is leading Andhra Pradesh’s digital mission, has set an ambitious target of generating 2 million jobs across the state, including 5 lakh in the IT and GCC sectors. The Sattva project adds momentum to Visakhapatnam’s emergence as a digital capital, supporting this goal.
ANSR signs MoU for GCC innovation campus in Vizag
Meanwhile, the state government on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global GCC leader ANSR to establish a dedicated Global Capability Centre (GCC) Innovation Campus in Visakhapatnam. The agreement was signed in the presence of IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh.
The upcoming campus, to be located in the Madhuravada IT Cluster, is expected to generate over 10,000 jobs over the next five years. ANSR CEO Lalit Ahuja praised Visakhapatnam as a perfect blend of talent, infrastructure, and visionary governance. “This innovation campus will become a destination for world-class companies,” he said.
Minister Nara Lokesh described the partnership as the first major milestone in the state’s mission to create five lakh jobs in the IT and GCC sectors, as part of a broader goal to generate 20 lakh jobs across Andhra Pradesh in the next four years.
“Our journey begins from Visakhapatnam. We are turning this vision into a movement,” Lokesh said, likening Vizag to a blend of Bengaluru’s tech potential and Goa’s livability. He emphasized the government’s focus on building not just business infrastructure but also talent ecosystems, with investments in cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, and product engineering.
He highlighted ongoing initiatives such as land allotments to TCS and Cognizant, the construction of India’s largest data city, and the development of Bhogapuram International Airport to transform Visakhapatnam into a global digital hub.
Lokesh said that India’s first Quantum Valley, modelled on Silicon Valley, would be established in Amaravati within six months. The announcement was made during a high-profile ‘Investor roadshow’ held with Global Capability Centre (GCC) leaders.
Calling on global companies to invest in the state’s rapidly evolving tech ecosystem, Lokesh said, “The world is looking toward Andhra Pradesh. This is the right time to invest. We are offering industry-friendly policies and unmatched incentives.”
Highlighting the state’s strategic focus on Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, and IT, Lokesh said the Quantum Valley project, developed in partnership with tech giants like TCS, IBM, and L&T, would be a game-changer for India’s technological future.
Lokesh Invites Prestige Group to State
Meanwhile, Lokesh invited leading real estate developer Prestige Group to invest in the state’s rapidly expanding realty sector. During a meeting with Prestige Group Chairman Irfan Razack and Executive Director Zayad Noman, Lokesh highlighted the favourable investment climate in AP and outlined the government’s development agenda.
Lokesh stated that the Amaravati capital project is progressing swiftly, with an investment of around Rs 65,000 crore. He also noted that Visakhapatnam is emerging as a major IT hub, attracting companies like Google, TCS, and Cognizant.
