VIJAYAWADA: Renowned spiritual orator and Moral Values Advisor to the State government, Brahma Sri Chaganti Koteswara Rao, called on Minister for HRD and IT Nara Lokesh at his residence in Undavalli on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Chaganti Koteswara Rao underscored the importance of value-based education in shaping students into responsible citizens. He said moral education is essential for the holistic development of children and stressed the need to instill human values, discipline and ethical principles from an early age.
The spiritual scholar also discussed the moral values curriculum that has been developed under his guidance and is currently being taught to students in government schools across Andhra Pradesh on ‘No Bag Day’ as part of the State’s education programme.
Koteswara Rao said he was pleased to be associated with the Andhra Pradesh government’s efforts to promote holistic education through value-based learning.
Following the meeting, Minister Nara Lokesh personally accompanied Koteswara Rao from his residence to his vehicle as a mark of respect and courtesy.
