Nagaraj Tuppad

Eight teams of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) have fanned out across the state in the hunt for other suspected terrorists based on information revealed by those arrested. They are working at different places, including Bangalore, Hubli, Hyderabad, Bijapur and Bhatkal.

The CCB team visited various places where associates of the five arrested stayed in Hubli. It has reportedly visited educational institutions where the accused studied, to gather information.

Based on phone calls, the police are also tracing other suspects. The police officials have denied the arrest of additional suspects.

CM praises cops

The state police are capable enough to handle terror activities, CM Jagadish Shettar asserted. He appreciated the timely action taken by CCB in preventing the alleged conspiracy of killing politicians.
