Deficit rain in interior Karnataka

While coastal regions in the state continue to receive heavy rainfall,  north-interior and south-interior Karnataka have received deficit rain on Tuesday.  Very heavy rainfall was recorded in Shirali (210 mm),  Bhatkal (180 mm), Mulki (140 mm) and Kumta (130 mm). Kollur, Siddapura, Panambur, Kundapur, Siddapura and Agumbe received 100-120 cm rainfall each.

According to a report by Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre, the cumulative rainfall between June 1 and 10 in south Karnataka.

Forecast for Today

The city may receive light showers on Wednesday.
