MYSURU: Nanjangud Returning officer G Jagadeesha has issued show-cause notice to BJP candidate
V Srinivasa Prasad for violating the model code of conduct (MCC) twice.According to the notices served, Prasad held an election campaign in a school premises in Badanavalu and gave Rs 100 to one Puttathayamma during the campaign at Devarasanahalli village, both of which amounted to MCC violations.He has been asked to reply to the notices within 24 hours, failing which action will be initiated against him.

officer against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, accusing him of violating the election code of conduct during an event held at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru on Sunday.
