Panic at Kabini resort after tiger sighted

A tiger that was sighted in the vicinity of Jungle resorts in Kabini in Heggadevana Kote taluk early Sunday morning created panic among the hotel staffers, tourists and villagers.

MYSURU: A tiger that was sighted in the vicinity of Jungle resorts in Kabini in Heggadevana Kote taluk early Sunday morning created panic among the hotel staffers, tourists and villagers.
The big cat was caught on a CCTV camera. The hotel management immediately alerted the forest and police departments, and instructed tourists not to move around in the vicinity.  

Forest officials arrived, along with elephants Abhimanu and Arjuna, and started operations to trace and tranquilise the tiger. They will continue the search operations on Monday too.The officials feel that the tiger may have moved into the forests and are attempting to track it
