HUBBALLI: JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda said H D Kumaraswamy-led state government will release a white paper on total fund allocated to each district by various governments since 1956 during the next assembly session.

Addressing the media here on Sunday, he defended the coalition government’s merger allotment of funds to North Karnataka, which has received nine per cent of the total budgetary allocations. He said he will ask the CM to hold a special assembly session for two-three days and present a white paper on contributions of all the previous governments for the development of N-K, so that the people could understand who has done more injustice to the region.

“Our government has not meted out injustice to N-K,” he claimed.

The allegation being levelled against Kumaraswamy that he had presented a “south-centric budget” is not good. Some biased minds and a section of media are spreading negative news about the budget, he said.
Gowda said he has no problem in supporting AICC  chief Rahul Gandhi for the prime ministerial post.
