PATHANAMTHITTA: The 92nd Central Travancore Orthodox Convention was inaugurated at Makamkunnu St Stephan’s Cathedral here on Sunday.
Delivering the inaugural address at the function, Mathews Mar Severios said that meditation and observing of fast could give people mental strength and peace.
The metropolitan said that meditation could also give the people the strength to overcome the wrongs done by the body.
Sunday School meeting was held in the afternoon.
The youth meet was presided over the Prof Goerge Pulikottil of Nagpur Seminary.
Kuriakose Mar Clemis presided over the gospel meeting held in the evening.
