THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan made a complaint to the Press Council of India against The New Indian Express for carrying a graphic resembling the resignation letter of seven ministers.

“This is against media ethics. It was published with the intention of creating misunderstanding among readers,” a statement from the Minister’s office said, quoting the Minister’s complaint.

EXPRESS CLARIFIES

The graphic in question was published as an illustration to highlight the news report, a routine practice among newspapers across the world. It was not intended to cause misunderstanding among readers.
