KOZHIKODE: Filmdrama artiste Santha Devi, died at a private hospital here on Saturday. She was 82.
Entered into the tinsel world through the Ramu Karyat movie Minnaminugu, Santha Devi has acted in more than 400 films including Aswamedham, Kuttikuppayam, Iruttinte Atmavu, Nirmalayam, Kamala Dalam, Nadodikkattu and Mazhayethummunpe.
She won the best supporting actress award instituted by the State Government for the role in Yamanam.
She had also won Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi award.
