The JFCM, Kannur, has issued notices to CPM leaders Prakash Karat, V S Achuthanandan and LDF convener Vaikom Viswan in connection with the sex scandal case involving former CPM district secretary P Sasi. According to K P Ramachandran, counsel for petitioner T P Nandakumar, the notices directed the CPM leaders to be present in the court on September 13.
The counsel for the petitioner had sought to produce the complaint filed by the victim with the inquiry commission set up by the party and the papers relating to the findings of the commission, on September 13.
