Loadshedding to be lifted Sunday

Express News Service

There will be no night loadshedding in the State from June 16, the KSEB said on Friday. The Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission had permitted the KSEB to impose the loadshedding only up to June 15. In a statement, the KSEB said that the loadshedding is being lifted following instructions from Electricity Minister Aryadan Mohammed. The KSEB had already lifted the hour-long day-time loadshedding on Wednesday as the hydel reservoirs received adequate inflow after copious monsoon rains. The KSEB had sought extension of the loadshedding till June 30, but the Commission allowed it only up to June 15.
