THRISSUR: Now, the Paliyekkara toll plaza here, which has lately been in the news often for the wrong reasons, is yet again making headlines after a video posted on Facebook by national award winning actor Surabhi Lakshmi went viral.

The actor took to the social site to express her outrage after she was stuck for hours together in the long line of vehicles at the busy toll plaza.

“I was on my way to attend a programme, but they did not allow the vehicles to pass even though there was a long queue stretching several kilometres,” she says in the video, while also complaining about the rude behaviour of the plaza staffers.

The video also showed the ordeal endured by parents of sick children who were on their way to hospital.

Besides, Surabhi is seen calling for affirmative action to fight the injustice perpetrated on the people.
