KOCHI: Manoj Mishra, chairman and managing director (CMD) of public sector National Fertilisers Ltd (NFL), has been given the additional charge of Udyogamandal-based Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT).
Mishra, who has more than 30 years experience in various public sector undertakings and cooperative sector, takes over as the FACT CMD at a time when the company is finding the going tough with huge losses. S K Lohani, joint secretary, Department of Fertilisers, was holding the additional post of the CMD of the FACT, and his term came to an end on February 15.
Mishra’s appointment is also temporary, till the new full-time CMD takes over. A FACT spokesman said the FACT had invited applications for the post of the CMD, and the last date to apply was on January 22.
The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PSEB) is expected to shortlist the final list soon.
