BHUBANESWAR: Soft computing is the future of computing. It parallels the remarkable ability of human mind to reason and learn in a circumstance of uncertainty and imprecision. Therefore, it can have a huge impact on all aspects and spheres of the future generations with vast applications.

  To delve deeper, experts and implementers from across the world came together at a conference of industrial application of soft computing organised by Eastern Academy of Science and Technology (EAST) here.

  Taking part in the first session of the conference, famous neuro-psycho pharmacologist of US Dr RK Mishra elaborated on the promise that soft computing techniques and applications hold for the areas of medical science, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering and electronics industry. It is a process where the sensory impulse of the input to the brain and brain stem is initiated, assimilated and disseminated prior to output response at the target site, he explained.

   Applications can solve complex industrial problems of modern days, chairman of the Orissa State Human Rights Commission Justice RK Patra said.

State IT Secretary PK Jena stressed its role in combating rapid deterioration of environment.
