Express News Service

Pyarimohan Mahapatra will emerge as the new Chief Minister in the next Assembly election, claimed Odisha Jana Morcha leaders at a meeting held in the Town Hall here on Thursday. “Countdown has begun for the end of the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD Government’s misrule,” they said.

Taking a dig at Naveen, OJM leader Gangadhar Jani reiterated the party’s plan to dislodge the BJD supremo from power with the support of the people in the Assembly election to be held next year.

“People of the State will no longer tolerate the BJD rule. People who do not understand anything about the State and its language have to go,” he said.

Describing BJD and Congress as two sides of a coin, Jani claimed that OJM president Pyarimohan can give good governance to the people as he knows Odisha and its people from the core of his heart. He described Naveen as a ‘betrayer’.

Addressing more than 500 party workers, State OJM leader Asish Ghosh urged the workers to strengthen the party organisation at the grassroots level ahead of party chief Pyarimohan’s visit to Malkangiri soon.

Party leader Goutam Samantray expressed confidence that the people of the State will certainly throw Naveen out of power in 2014 Assembly election and OJM will form the government in the State.
