Cops launch manhunt for miscreants

Express News Service

Police have sealed all exit points after six miscreants unsuccessfully tried to loot a fuel filling station along State Highway 10 at Bihaband under Rajgangpur police limits in Sundargarh district on Monday.

Reports said around 8 pm the miscreants arrived in a jeep at the Kissan fuel filling station and three stayed outside on the pretext of filling fuel. Three others entered the cash counter and took out a firearm.

However, the counterman identified as Chhattis Minz managed to snatch the revolver forcing the miscreants to flee. A contradictory report said the miscreants outside opened two rounds of blank firing for cover and fled. But, police did not verify.
