Miscreants open fire at salesman

Two unidentified bike-borne miscreants opened fire at a salesman of a licensed country liquor shop at Ananda Bazar in Kaitha grama panchayat under Mahanga police limits on Monday afternoon.

The salesman Jai Prakash Singh however stepped to backside and escaped narrowly. Police said the miscreants asked Singh to provide liquor free of cost when Singh refused they opened fire at him and fled.

After being informed Mahanga police rushed to the spot to look in to the matter, said Deabadatta Baral, IIC, Mahanga police station.
