The Public Accounts Committee (PAC), which met here under chairmanship of Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh on Tuesday, failed to transact any business due to walk-out by ruling BJD members.

While members of PAC are tightlipped about the incident, sources said Prabhat Biswal (BJD) had a verbal duel with Congress Chief Whip Prasad Harichandan over a report prepared by the committee without consulting the ruling party members. The meeting ended abruptly as Biswal and other members of BJD walked out in protest. Several attempts to contact PAC Chairman Harichandan and Biswal proved futile.
