The Railways has announced a new weekly AC superfast train to ply between Secunderabad and Shalimar from June 4.

The 12774 Secunderabad-Shalimar weekly AC Superfast Express will leave Secunderabad every Tuesday at 5.30 am and will arrive at Shalimar at 9.05 am the next day.

In the return direction, 12773 Shalimar-Secunderabad weekly AC Superfast Express will depart Shalimar every Wednesday at 4.05 pm with effect from June 5 and arrive at Secunderabad at 7.00 pm the following day.

This train will have o­ne first class AC coach, three AC-2 tiers and 11 AC-3 tiers. It will have stoppages at Warangal, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Balasore, Kharagpur and Santragachhi between Secunderabad and Shalimar.
