Tata scholarship for 1,000 students

Tribal Cultural Society of Tata Steel has awarded scholarships to about 1,000 students belonging to the SC and ST categories from Kalinga Nagar, Sukinda, Bamnipal, Gopalpur and Joda areas under its Jyoti Fellowship programme.

 The scholarship is extended to students from Class VII to Graduation. Students of Class VII and VIII are provided with Rs 2,500 per annum while those of Class IX and X are given Rs 3,000. Students pursuing Plus-Two are paid Rs 3,500 per year and those studying in Plus-Three are given  Rs 4,000 per year.
