More Sheets in Board Exam Answer Books

Students may not have to worry about the tedious process of attaching additional sheets to the main answer books for Board exams this year. For, the Department of School Education has increased pages in the main answer books of Class X and Plus II exams to 30 and 38 pages from 8 and 16 pages respectively.

The move also will put an end to complaints of additional sheets attached main answer books tearing off or going missing after the exams. “Many students don’t tie the papers properly and chances of losing papers are high. There are difficulties in finding the correct papers and attaching them. Due to papers going missing, students complain of low marks. This problem also will be solved,” a top official said.

This move will also save time of teachers supervising the exams. “It is a regular sight that students stand in exam halls asking for additional papers from teachers. When more students demand papers at a time, teacher will be in trouble and time will be wasted. Since the new answersheets have enough pages there won’t be any requirement for additional papers,” said the official. However, if students require additional sheets, they will be provided.
