2 ex-ministers appear in court in assets case

Two DMK former ministers and the husband of  a former minister appeared before the Special Court for Vigilance and Anti Corruption here on Thursday in connection with cases against them.

Former DMK ministers Thangam Thennarasu, Sattur Ramachandran appeared in person before the court for a hearing in disproportionate assets cases that were filed against them.  The trial in the  case was held in the special court at Madurai district court campus.

Meanwhile, RaviKumar, husband of Tamilarasi, former Minister for Adi-Dravidar and Tribal Welfare, also appeared in the same court in connection with a similar case.  The judge adjouned the cases to June 20.
