Former TN Chief Secretary Rama Mohana Rao makes quiet comeback

Rama Mohan Rao has also been functioning as the Vigilance Commissioner and Commissioner for Administrative Reforms, another key portfolio in the State government.

CHENNAI: Three months after he was suspended following the IT raids in his residence and office at the Secretariat, former Chief Secretary P Rama Mohana Rao has been reinstated.  Orders in this regard were issued on Thursday.  Now, he has been posted as Director, Entrepreneurship Development Institute.  He replaces K Rajaraman, who has been posted as Land Administration Commissioner.

Meanwhile, the State government also transferred a few more IAS officials. Ashok Ranjan Mohanty has been posted as Archaeology Commissioner, S Divyadarshini has been appointed as Secretary, State Human Rights Commission.
