Six Tamil Nadu fishermen were today arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy for allegedly fishing near Neduntheevu in the island nation.

RAMESWARAM: Six Tamil Nadu fishermen were today arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy for allegedly fishing near Neduntheevu in the island nation.     

The president of the fishermen association here, M Emerit, said the arrested fishermen have been taken to Kangesanthurai port there.     

They were allegedly fishing near Neduntheevu when they were arrested, he said.
