TIRUCHIRAPPALLI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami today slammed DMK Working President M K Stalin for attacking his government over the dengue outbreak instead of making useful suggestions to combat the fever cases.

"Stalin is only mocking at the situation in Tamil Nadu due to dengue without giving useful suggestions," he told the gathering at a function here got up for celebrating the birth centenary of ruling AIADMK founder late M G Ramachandran.

The DMK leader had been sharply critical of the handling of the dengue fever by the state government.

Hitting back at Stalin over his charge that the present government indulged in horse trading to ensure its continuance, Palaniswami, in a veiled reference to the 2G spectrum scam, said when the verdict in the case was delivered people would know during whose regime horse trading took place.

The Chief Minister, who listed various welfare schemes implemented by the state government, said a new integrated bus stand would come up here.
