Petrol bomb hurled at Edappadi police station in Tamil Nadu

SALEM: Miscreants hurled Molotov cocktail at Edappadi police station in Salem district in the wee hours on Tuesday.

Head constable Ramachandran was on duty at that time informed the incident to the Inspector Baby. Later, upon information, Salem Superintendent of Police AK Arun Kabilan and forensic experts reached the spot. Police are checking the CCTV footage and an enquiry is on.

A police source added that no property had been damaged.

Salem Range DIG ES Uma told TNIE that the police would inform the issue the press later in detail.
