Fake job consultancy racket busted, two arrested

Two youngsters from New Delhi, who floated a fake job consultancy firm and collected money from aspirants, were arrested by the Cyberabad police.

HYDERABAD: Two youngsters from New Delhi, who floated a fake job consultancy firm and had collected money from aspirants by posing as Indigo Airlines staff, were arrested by the Cyberabad police on Saturday.  

The accused, identified as Rahul Kaurav (23) and Arjun Singh (22), both residents of New Delhi had started a job consultancy under the name of AS Group Consultancy. 

Through their firm, they acquired the details of job aspirants from various recruitment portals. 

The duo hired four persons as Tele callers to contact the job aspirants. The police said the accused have cheated hundreds of persons across the country. 

“If anyone has deposited money in the Paytm accounts of the accused Rahul and Arjun, they can approach the cyber crime police for necessary action,” police said.
