HYDERABAD: The State government has issued orders raising the upper age limit to 25 year from 22 year for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department. Earlier, the government issued a notification fixing age limit to 22 year. This will allow thousands of job aspirants to apply for the post.
TS Police Recruitment Board Chairman VV Srinivasa Rao said the candidates having age limit of 25 year are eligible for applying for police constable posts in Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force. Board is raised for all the posts in each of these Notifications by three years.
This relaxation is in addition to upper age limit as mentioned in the notifications. The board is inviting applications through online mode in prescribed proforma which would be made available on www.tslprb.in from 8 am on June 9 to 12 midnight on June 30 for Direct Recruitment .
