HYDERABAD: The Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) of the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) has granted permission to the State government to use imported coal as secondary fuel in boilers of industrial units in Hyderabad Pharma City.  The EAC permission was granted as the availability of natural gas reserves were extremely low in the country.
