Ram Charan-Priyanka Chopra starrer Thoofan (2013) (the Telugu version of Bollywood film Zanjeer) to be dubbed in Tamil as Super Police.
While Ram Charan will be seen as an upright police officer, Priyanka Chopra plays an NRI. How the police officer takes on the oil mafia (led by a villain played by Prakash Raj), after having been transferred 22 times, forms the crux of the story.
The story also talks about an uneasy childhood that Ram Charan has had, which continued to give him nightmares.
A source said, “The film was shot extensively in and around Mumbai. Ram Charan is a part of many high-octane action sequences.
There are five peppy songs in the film, which is the biggest highlight.” Super Police will be released by this month end.
