Surat: 6 people dead, 20 hospitalised after gas leak in factory

At least 6 people died and 22 others were hospitalised after gas leakage from a tanker in Gujarat's #Surat district.The incident reportedly took place in the Sachin GIDC area of the city on Jan 6. The chemical tanker was trying to dispose of toxic chemicals illegally. The workers were sleeping inside the factory at the time of the incident. Workers fell unconscious after inhaling the toxic fumes coming out of the tanker.
