'She is solely responsible for what is happening in country': SC blasts Nupur Sharma

The Supreme Court on July 1st came down heavily on suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma for her comments on Prophet Mohammad. SC said that Nupur Sharma's remarks were disturbing and 'smack of arrogance'. Accusing the leader of “igniting emotions across the country” with her “disturbing” remarks, the apex court said that she owed the nation an apology. Referring to her apology for the Prophet remarks, the apex court also said that it was too late and her comment led to unfortunate incidents.
