On August 2, after the SC verdict on NEET, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said that there is a pressing need to address the issue of NEET. He questioned the efficiency and reliability of how the entrance exam has been conducted. The Thiruvananthapuram MP also raised issues faced by the students from Kerala concerning the examination centers.
