Train fare hike again: AC, Express fares to cost more from December 26

From December 26, passengers travelling in AC and non-AC coaches on mail and express trains will have to pay higher fares. The Ministry of Railways has announced a second fare hike this year, saying the move is aimed at balancing rising operational costs while minimising the impact on passengers.
