War escalates: Iran downs US Aircraft, rejects ceasefire deal

Iranian military downed two US warplanes, a two-seater F-15E jet and an A-10 aircraft, on April 3. Two Black Hawk helicopters on a search and rescue operation was also hit. Two US pilots were rescued, but one crew member is still missing. Another US Air Force combat plane crashed in the Gulf region on Friday. Iran reportedly declined a 48-hour ceasefire proposal by the US.
