Birsa Munda hockey stadium: All you need to know

Ranked fifth in the world, India is hosting the hockey World Cup for the second straight edition. However, unlike the previous edition, where all the hockey World Cup matches were held at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, the newly-built Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela acted as the second venue for the hockey World Cup 2023. On January 6th, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the hockey stadium.
