GUNTUR: SP Ch Vijaya Rao told newsmen here on Friday that Koya Santosh (22) of Rajahmundry was arrested on a charge of stealing J6.17 lakh from D Ramakrishna, a chilli farmer of Garikapadu, who stayed in a lodge in the city on August 9.When questioned, Santosh who stayed in the same lodge, told the police that he stole the money from the room of Ramakrishna to present gold ornaments and electronic gadgets to his lover. The police recovered electronic gadgets and J1.7 lakh from him.
