Four of a family end lives

GUNTUR:  In a tragic incident, a woman committed suicide along with her two children by jumping before a goods train at Narasaraopet in Guntur district on Monday. On learning about the suicide of his wife and two children, P Somasekhar (40) consumed pesticide in Ramakuru on Monday and was shifted to Chilakaluripeta hospital for treatment. He died while undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Railway SI D Venkateswara Rao said that Penubothu Vijayalakshmi (29) and her two children Digvijaya (6) and Ganesh Sai (4) committed suicide by jumping before a goods train at third railway gate in Narasaraopet. 

According to locals, Vijayalakshmi, who hails from Ramakuru village in Janakavaram Panguluru mandal in Prakasam district, came by train along with her children on Monday and was seen walking beside the railway track.
