Jaganmohan Reddy asks YSRC MPs to vote against BJP in Rajya Sabha

VIJAYAWADA: YSRC party has decided to vote against BJP candidate in the ensuing election for Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman post.

The decision was taken by the party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy in a meeting with regional coordinators at Gollala Mamidada village of Anaparthi Assembly Constituency in East Godavari district on Sunday.

Jaganmohan Reddy has asked his party men after three-hour long discussions to vote against the BJP candidate. Disclosing details of the meeting, party senior leader Dharmana Prasada Rao said as the BJP-led NDA Government failed to keep the promises made to the people of the state, the party has decided to vote against BJP candidate.

“It was also decided to staged protests in and out of the Parliament during the monsoon session. Those MPs, who have resigned to their seats will protest on the Parliament premises. We have decided to explain to the entire country, how the BJP has done injustice to the state,” he said.

Jaganmohan Reddy, who was scheduled to continue his Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Anaparthi constituency postponed his yatra for the day due to rains.
