Delhi govt invites Naidu for CMs’ meet in Oct

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has recieved an invitation to participate in the meeting of Chief Ministers’ to be hosted by the Delhi government on October 29 and 30 in the national capital to discuss and put forth the views/concerns of States and Union Territories to the Centre for making requisite changes in the Terms of References of the 15th Finance Commission along with other issues concerning Centre-State relations.

In the letter dated October 8 addressed to Naidu, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia mentioned that the Finance Ministers of some States and UTs discussed the issue in meetings held in Thiruvananthapuram and in Amaravati earlier.

Even as they have submitted a detailed memorandum to the President on May 18 outlining the issues concerning States/UTs, there has been no response from the Centre till date.
