Honda Scoots Ahead Automatically

Honda is expanding its production capacity foreseeing the future potential of automatic scooter demand.

Scooter manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd recently invigorated the automatic scooter segment further with launch of its two new 2015 editions of Aviator and Activa i-automatic scooters, especially for women. With this, Honda has completed eight new two-wheeler model launches in just six months of 2015.

Honda is expanding its production capacity foreseeing the future potential of automatic scooter demand. The upcoming fourth plant will be the world’s largest only-scooter plant and will start operation at Gujarat in early 2016.

The Aviator comes with muscular metallic front look, front chrome cover, console cover garnish, stylised halogen powered headlamp, garnished instrumental pane, crystal clear lens, sweeping side indicators, body-coloured grab tail and 3D Wings emblem. It has also other features like telescopic suspension, stylish five-spoke 12-inch silver alloy wheels, wide and comfortable seat and optional 190mm front disc brakes. You will find the 109cc trusted Honda engine, combi-braking system for increased rider confidence delivering a mileage with net power of 8bhp@7000rpm and torque of 8.77Nm@5500rpm.

The scooter also comes with tubeless tyres, comfortable riding position, viscous air filter, 20 liter under seat storage space and maintenance free battery.

The Aviator is priced at Rs 50,863 for the standard version and Rs 56,209 for deluxe (ex-showroom)

On the other hand targeting the unisex customer base, the Activa will also be avaiable in standard and deluxe versions available at Rs 46,213 and Rs 46,703 (ex-showroom.
